For pricing and color options, go HERE.  NEW STAR BUILDS SHINE BRIGHTLY Spring makes for the perfect time to shake things up, make some changes based on feedback and work to offer you, our riders, improvements in ride quality and performance. Throughout the winter, holed up at headquarters, we had more than enough time to evaluate our current Star Build kits on our mountain bikes and figure out which bits needed an update. So, that's just what we did. Whether you're ready to shred on our recently redesigned trail bikes, the JET 9 and the RIP 9, or race it up on the AIR 9 or RKT 9, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see some of the tweaks we've made. For our trail bikes, and those of you who must have the very best, our 5-star builds get a new crank, SRAM's carbon Descendant, a part of the Truvativ family. Add to that, the impressive stopping power of the well-received SRAM Guide RSC brakes and you'll find yourself going faster down the hill with more ability to haul it in quickly when needed. Looking for a great ride, but with a bit more value? Our mid-range trail bikes continue to ride on reliable Shimano XT and SLX parts. The most noticeable change you'll find is with the dropper post. To tidy up the cockpit, we've swapped out the external cable routing and added the well-loved KS LEV SI post. For our race-ready riders, the RKT 9 RDO gets a little more cushion up front. The front fork grows from 100 mm of travel to 120. The 5 and 4 Star builds get the three-position Fox Float 34 with Boost spacing. The 3 and 2 star builds get the Rockshox Reba RL Solo Air, also with Boost. And not to be ignored, AIR 9 RDO 5-Star Eagle also sees an upgrade to its stopping power with the addition of SRAM Guide RSC brakes. All of the RKT and AIR builds receive Niner's Flat Top RDO or alloy handlebar at 780 mm. Cutdown marks are printed on each handlebar if you wish to shorten your bars.
